Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH
This position will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the design, development, and implementation of data warehousing, reporting and analytics solutions that deliver information efficiently, with the end goal to solve business challenges and achieve business objectives using data.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the effort to gather requirements, design, develop, implement, and support Power BI reports and dashboards for the organization in Microsoft Azure and D365 environment.
- Administration and configuration of Power BI gateway, pipelines, data flows, user setup and organizational workspace, content packs, report deployment and app publishing.
- Interface with business and technical teams at all levels to relate business issues/requirements to technical solutions.
- Review, audit, and convert existing SSRS reports and legacy reporting systems/functionality (until fully deprecated).
- Consolidate data from other data sources(non-Dynamics) to relate peripheral systems(HR, Shipping, Call center, etc) to provide cross-functional reporting
- Experience in requirement analysis, design and prototyping
- Develop, publish, schedule reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain quality assurance testing plans to ensure consistency and accuracy across all data models
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation.
- Provide user training, as needed.
- Project management, as needed
Essentials:
- 3+ years designing and developing reports and dashboards in Power BI environment.
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Information Technology related field or equivalent experience and certifications.
- Power BI Admin and Power BI Desktop.
- MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies, such as SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Power Query.
- Strong understanding of T-SQL and Stored Procedures.
- Solid understanding of data structures, data entities, data models, and databases.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Datalake and Azure Synapse.
- Basic understanding of moving data and files in and out of Data Lake.
